• Business has been operating for at least two years in this field
• Members (company owners) cannot be convicted felons
• Members are required to fully disclose pricing and “terms and conditions” in writing to their clients
• Members are required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
• Members are required to adhere to the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior
• Members are expected to comply with future best practices and standards as they are developed and defined

• Members agree to resolve all complaints within 90 days and maintain excellent customer service relationships with their customers
• Members agree to not falsely advertise and not publish any misleading information
• Members agree to inform the NLVA about any pending, threatened or anticipated litigation that may have an impact on the legal community
• Members will promote the NLVA and related certification value
• Members in violation of NLVA standards, best practices, or bylaws may be subject to expulsion
• Members are required to develop and maintain data security processes to ensure confidentiality and protect against mishandling or fraud.
In the event that an application is denied, we adhere to the following policy:

Application Denial: If an application is denied for any reason, a $250 fee for the diligence report associated with the application will be deducted from any refund issued to the applicant.

Refund Process: The remaining refund amount, after deducting the diligence report fee, will be processed and credited back to the original payment method within [insert timeframe, e.g., 3-5 business days].

Communication: We understand that receiving a denial notice may be disappointing, and we are committed to providing support and assistance throughout the refund process. Our customer service team is available to address any questions or concerns regarding the denial or refund process.

Policy Acknowledgment: By submitting an application, applicants acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Application Denial Policy.

Membership Auto-Renewal Terms and Conditions:

By enrolling in a membership with the National Legal Vendor Association (NLVA), you agree to our auto-renewal terms.

Automatic Renewal:

All NLVA memberships are set to automatically renew at the end of each membership term (typically annually), using the payment method on file. This ensures uninterrupted access to membership benefits and services.

Renewal Notification:

We will provide a courtesy reminder via email prior to your renewal date. However, it is your responsibility to be aware of your renewal schedule. You can view or manage your membership status at any time by contacting us via the contact form.

Cancellation of Auto-Renewal:

You may cancel auto-renewal at any time by contacting NLVA via the contact form. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current membership period; no partial refunds are provided for the remaining term.

Updates to Payment Information:

You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current. If a payment fails, we may contact you to update your information or pause membership benefits until payment is resolved.

Changes to Fees or Terms:

NLVA reserves the right to adjust membership rates or modify renewal terms. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to future renewal periods.
